At our 2019 Jacksonville Reunion, the “SAR Alert!” painting by artist and member of the USS STERETT Association Dale Byhre was unveiled.  This was a project originally started by Shipmate Mike Smith (68-70) who was aboard USS STERETT (DLG 31) 30 August 1968.
