On Sunday November 17, USS STERETT (DDG 104) departed San Diego for a “surge deployment” as part of the USS CARL VINSON (CVN 70) Carrier Strike Group ONE (CSG-1). After an ammo onload at Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach 18-21 November, she joined CSG-1 in making a scheduled deployment to the Indo-Pacific region. Fair winds and following seas Forever Dauntless!!!
