“Some of you may not know that the Sterett was at one time on “museum hold” as a future museum ship.  As we all know that did not come to be.  I had the original design concepts for the ship as it would have been tied up in Eureka, CA.  These are photos of those old representations” – Tom Jacobsmeyer, October 30, 2012.
