The next Sterett
Reunion is scheduled for the weekend of September 26, 2009 in
San Diego California. The Sterett Association Board
teleconferenced last weekend and made progress towards
finalizing the reunion plans. At this point, we need to get an
idea of how many will be attending. Please follow the
instructions below so we can get a quick tally, within the next
week or so, of the number intending to be there. This will help
us plan the event and understand what services we may need to
provide.
We'll fill you in on our POD and some
of the nearby attractions and travel info in the near
future. Shopping, golf, Tour of the Midway and other
opportunities will be on the list of things close to the Hotel.
We are keeping the Sterett DDG 104 Crew appraised of our Reunion
and providing the Ship is in port, hope to see some of the Crew
attend. With your help now, we can get a clearer picture so
"advanced shore party" volunteers and (Former DLG 31 CO)
H.E. Reichert can proceed with nailing down the details. More
specifics will be communicated in upcoming newsletters and on
our website, as they become available.
Info - H.E. Reichert has arranged a room rate of $135 per night
based on a 2 night stay for the weekend of September 26th at the
